这么长时间没有敲点东西上来，一般会有两种原因，一是工作太忙碌，没有停下来的时候；二是日子过得还不错，一切都不紧不慢的过，这次差不多是第二种原因吧。

大事记：2008年9月5日~8日单位组织赴湖南凤凰古城及德夯苗寨游玩，感觉整个人很放松，不错。

2008年十一长假嘉和城温泉谷泡了一天温泉，在北海银滩呆了两天。虽然海滩的沙很好，夜晚的沙滩很静，海上的烟花偶然升起，海水还是一如既往地咸，但在北海时的确发生了些很不愉快的事情，不过还好已经过去了。（发现自己有时所谓的理智其实是自私）

2008年10月18日~26日休年休假赴广东看望同学，广州呆两天、东莞呆了两天、深圳呆两天，见了些老同学很开心，略微感受了几种不同的生活。

2008年11月1日搬到了新住处，房子很干净，厨房也比较宽敞，对现在的居住条件很满意。

上周六11月8日又开始打篮球了，这周三也参加了气排球运动，早起的习惯也快养成了，一切都还不错，喜欢有规律的生活。

最近生活中有了读书的乐趣，起初是每天下午下班吃完饭到附近的书店去读阵《苏菲的世界》，然后再回单位加班。昨天去书店发现《苏菲的世界》已经卖完了（几次读都没完整读完过，呵呵），于是读了篇契诃夫的短篇。今晚吃过食堂，回住处在台灯的柔和的灯光下翻阅朋友赠送的《人类的故事》，能细细的读些书，感觉真的很好。发现房龙对人类的由来和我的思考有类似的轨迹，这和当初发现卢瑟福对宇宙的理解和自己有谋和的地方一样让人感到有趣。

To serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be, (Possibly your roommate, neighbor, coworker, long lost, lover, or even a complete stranger), but when you lock eyes with them you know at that very moment they will.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck.

Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness, and sheer stupidity all occurs to test the limits of your soul.

Without these small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.

The people you meet who affect your life and the success and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become. Even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious when you open your heart. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because in a way, they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things.

Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.

Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you.

You can make of your life anything you wish. Most importantly, create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely NO regrets. And learn a lesson in life each day that you live.

But the other four balls family, health, friends and spirit are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life. How?
但是家庭、健康、朋友和心灵这四个球是用玻璃做成的。一旦你失手落下，它们可能会少了一角，留下无法挽回的记号、刻痕、损坏甚至碎落一地。它们将永远不会跟以前一样。你必须了解这个道理，并且为平衡你的生命而努力。但要怎么才做得到呢？

Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is because we are different that each of us is special.
别拿自己和他人比较，这只会降低了你原有的价值。因为我们都是独一无二的，因为我们每一个人都很特别。

Don't set your goals by what other people deem important. Only you know what is best for you.
别人认为重要的事不一定是你的目标。只有你才知道什么最适合你。

Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as they would be your life, for without them, life is meaningless.

Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or for the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life.
